[ About ]■
Join us for the inaugural Hills & Handlebars Retreat. A private, curated four-day mountain biking experience set during Bike Fest week in Northwest Arkansas.
This is an intentionally small, hand-selected group of riders who value great trails, meaningful connections, and elevated experiences.
Accommodations are shared, adding to the connection and community of the weekend. If you’re not attending with a friend, you’ll be paired with another rider in a shared room and bathroom (separate beds).
Over four days, you’ll ride some of the most iconic trail systems in the country, including Slaughter Pen, Coler Mountain Bike Preserve, Back 40, and the Little Sugar Trail system. All with seamless access from our private Basecamp at Campfire Ranch–Little Sugar.
You’ll also experience Bike Fest with VIP access, giving you a front-row seat to one of the most exciting weekends in mountain biking without the hassle of navigating it on your own.
Throughout the weekend, everything is thoughtfully handled from ride planning to catered meals to the overall flow of the experience, so you can stay fully present and focused on the ride.
No logistics. No guesswork. No noise.
This is not a race, a clinic, or a conference. It’s a gathering of like-minded riders who want an elevated weekend built around doing what they love.
Designed for intermediate to advanced riders, this experience is best suited for those comfortable riding varied terrain and ready to enjoy everything the weekend fully has to offer.
It’s a chance to ride hard, slow down, and reconnect with the trail and with each other.
Hills are the challenge.
Handlebars are the connection.
